The Ideal Partnership
When we are in alignment with our partners, whether in our businesses, in our friendships or in our bedrooms, exciting things can happen!
Sparks fly when we are on the same page and working together on the same goal.
When I meet with my clients, one of the first things I want to figure out is if our values align.
What does this look like?
Well, I believe that how we are in the world translates directly to how we are in our businesses and I want to work with folks that are purpose driven, compassionate, ambitious but also taking care of themselves and their community. I use the words “sustainable” and “capacity” A LOT in my work and you’ll rarely hear me say “hustle” and I’ll absolutely never utter the words “girl boss”.
I’m all about being practical, kind, focused and acknowledging the systems we must work within (patriarchy, capitalism and so on) while also holding a lot of space for how this effects us as we create and grow our businesses.
I love hard work. I love to be of service. I love a good problem to solve BUT it’s taken me years to understand my capacity, the boundaries I need to be both healthy and happy and to be able to pour back my expertise into my work while also supporting my family, friends and community.
I want you to have a head start on this balance in your own business!
I want you to hear “your taxes are due” and know I’m in your corner and out way ahead of it!
I want you to feel CALM and CONFIDENT in your business.
What makes us a good fit?
Here are some bullet points that might be true about you:
you are working on how to work smarter, not harder or more
you’re tired of being blindsided by taxes owing or CRA reassessments
you know how to offer your product or service but feel nervous, worried or scared around the finances
your books/taxes/accountant give you actual panic attacks
you give back when you can and are looking to be sustainable enough to do so
you need guidance, support or permission around the topic of rest and caring for yourself
you have big goals but need a sustainable plan and someone to help you stay accountable and support you along the way
you struggle with trauma or accessibility around work, money, systemizing or letting go of tasks
you know you need to prioritize your finances and bookkeeping but it feels like you never have the time
you know you need to outsource your finance stuff but are having a hard time trusting someone else to take over
you are neurodivergent (diagnosed or self diagnosed) and need someone who understands how that impacts your business
you’re juggling your work/home/relationship/kids/chronic health things and need someone to take the wheel on your business finances
you value your time doing what you love and are willing to let go of the tasks that drain you in your business
you are impacted by the state of the world, feel stuck, are losing momentum and need a bit of hope and brightness from your business support
Maybe all of these feel relevant…please reach out!
Maybe all of these feel off the wall…I’m not for everyone and that’s ok!
I start each and every relationship with a new client by learning about your life, your business, your hopes and dreams and I’ll share about myself and my life and businesses too so we can see if we are a good fit. Establishing a firm groundwork of trust and mutual understanding is essential before you trust me with your books, business plan and ongoing support. Once we have that firm foundation I’ll have your back every step of the way. I’ll teach and guide you all the while maintaining meticulous records and ensuring your financial obligations to CRA are fulfilled in a timely fashion.
I love digging in and sorting out your sh*t so you don’t have to, nothing brings me greater joy than helping women get their businesses to a place that they feel empowered, supported, sustainable and successful!
Hope to chat with you soon,
Linds
